Cars

Alanna and I are trying to sell our cars so that we can start shopping for a new/used Subaru.

Today we went out and put a For Sale sign on my 88 Chevy Sprint. We moved the car to a new spot and cleaned the windows. I also put the car on craigslist. I hope we can find a nice home for the “Little Red Buddy”.

Tonight we are headed to a friends art show and then maybe over to a 20 Minute Loop show.

My friend Dave stopped by and had lunch with me today. He brought along a CD of some Live songs from an old band of ours. [Moth Macabre] WAIT, STOP, Get away from the Wayback machine. Aaah seems like yesterday.

Diggin the new MAC OSX release. Some little things have changed so getting my bearings took a little bit, but on the whole I am happy.

I think Paul is liking the new MAC that he and Downey got too.

Halloween

November 3, 2003 at 11:57 am | blabbing.

We had a fun time for Halloween this weekend. Here are some pics from Alannas site.

Saturday was a nice day spent indoors lounging around the house. Sunday was bust. I wanted to go to Staceys book store downtown but there was not a single place to park. I then went all the way out to Stonestown only to discover that the entire mall was closed due to a power outage. So since the world was against me in my quest for a Logic Audio book, I decided to just head home.

Researchers classify solar flares using three categories: C for weak, M for Moderate and X for strong. The largest flare on record, one of two known X20s, occurred on April 2, 2001, but was not directed at Earth. The following is a X17 burst from the sun and is headed straight for us. The solar flares from last week are considered X1 and X5 on the same scale.

Seems strange that a couple days after a huge sunspot activity on the sun there is a huge fire sparked by santa ana winds in SoCal. hmmmmm
