So a minor glitch while we were in France was that Bank of America had noticed that I was taking money out of my account from France and turned off my account.
When I called and asked them what was going on they said, “You should inform us if you are going abroad”. How exactly was I supposed to know that I needed to do this. They say in their own commercials and those of Visa how it’s excepted all over the world. Its doesn’t say its excepted but first you have to call us and tell us where you are and what you want to buy.
How about a phone call or email from B of A telling me that they are noticing some activity on my card and they are shutting it down? Nope. Just like when they just cancelled my card without telling me last time.
They can have all sorts of computerized phone calls to tell me about some damn credit card offer that I don’t need but when it comes to something like this they are noticable silent.
