We drove around Portland some more today after a nice breakfast at Biscuits on NE Sandy and 52nd. We went downtown and look in some art galleries and then dropped by Powell’s Technical Books, which has some really cool stuff. Alanna had to get some stuff, and if we didn’t need to fly back on a plane I think we would have gotten a lot more books.
We drove out west on 26 to see what the surrounding area was like. We got about 30 miles outside Portland to the west when it started to go into mountains and we decided that going into the Oregon mountains, with snow on the ground in our little Ford Focus rental would not be the wisest of choices.
We fly back tomorrow. It’s been fun
