That would be “Band of Horses – everything all the time”. If you haven’t heard this record, do yourself a big favor and go get it. There are very few times that a band can take something so simple and derivative and give you something so great.
I just finished the super long biography of the Beatles by Bob Spitz. It’s about 900 pages but well worth it if you want to really know the Beatles story. I especially like all the history of the recording sessions and the songs.
